Upper Dhangadi Trek is a typical home stay trekking uniquely designed to explore Chepang Community. It is one of the short trekking surrounding with magnificent view of nature. Chepang an ethnic groups resident of these area, most of them reside away from modern development and very close to nature. They have their own language and way of livelihood. You can experience unseen and hidden culture of Chepang people. There hospitality, way of life with nature, language and their unrated cultural experience.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Chitwan Airport / Bus Station

We will receive you from Airport / Bus station and we will take you to Eco Homestay Chitwan. We will arrange your meeting for the trek and National park visit in first day.

Day 2: Full day visit of Chitwan National Park

Chitwan, Beautiful place to visit and famous for one horned Rhino. We will visit Bish Hajari tal and Chitwan National park. We will arrange cycling when you back from Chitwan National Park.

Day 3: Trek to Upperdhangadi

The portion of the trail we cover today is much more interesting. We will go up to 1275m from sea level. More than 300 species of birds make our trek interesting. By the end of the day we will reach there. We will see different scene from there and we will stay over the night in homestay of Chepang.

Day 4: Back to Eco Homestay Chitwan

After having breakfast, we will go to visit headquarter used to be of Chitwan district in early 1990s. Where Grandson of Prithivi Narayan Shah and youngest son of Bahadur shah used to live. After visiting the fort, we will see the View of Ganesh Himal and we will return from there. On the way, we will visit Chepang museum, waterfall as well. In the evening, we will arrange hindu chutka Bhajan for you when you returned back from there.

Day 5: Back to Kathmandu

Fly or Drive back to Kathmandu.
